Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This policy explains what information the SEO Fast browser extension processes, how it is used, and when it may be shared with third parties.

Information processed

When you start an analysis, the extension may read page-level SEO signals from the active webpage, including its URL, title, meta description, headings, image alt attributes, links, canonical URL, robots directives, Open Graph data and structured data. When you start a site crawl, URLs and related metadata or link information from pages on the same site may also be reviewed. The YouTube tool may read publicly available video-page metadata.

How information is used

Core checks run locally in your browser. The extension does not send page reports to a developer-controlled server and does not include advertising or analytics. Chrome local storage may be used to keep reports or crawl history on your device. You can clear this data through the browser or extension settings.

If you choose to run the optional Google PageSpeed Insights test, the selected page URL is sent to Google. An optional API key you enter is also sent to Google with the request; it is not sent to a developer-controlled server. Reports are saved or exported only when you initiate that action.

Permissions

The extension uses active-tab/page access for analyses you initiate and storage for local reports and crawl history. Site crawling may request web access when you choose to run it.

Third parties

If you use Google PageSpeed Insights, Google's privacy terms may apply to that request. Core local checks do not transmit data to a developer-controlled server.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated if the extension's data practices or features change. Before publication, verify that it accurately reflects the released build and store listing.
